Student Body

WSC serves an evangelical and Reformed student body from over 30 denominations, 35 states and countries around the world. Graduates from WSC are serving Christ and His Church in approximately 21 countries including Singapore, Korea, Spain, England, Nigeria, Malawi, and South Africa.

The Seminary is located in Southern California, an ethnically diverse region near Mexico and accessible to the Asian nations of the Pacific Rim. The student body reflects the ethnic diversity of the region and of the church throughout the world.

Non-Discrimination Policy
Westminster Seminary California does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, national and ethnic origin, disability, or gender in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, services, or scholarship and loan programs.

Believing that men and women are equally created in the image of God and that men and women have distinct and complementary roles in the order of the family and the church, the Board and Faculty understand the biblical criteria for the gospel ministry as limiting candidacy for the gospel ministry to qualified males. Because the purpose of the M.Div. program is to prepare candidates for official pastoral ministry, only men are admitted to this program. Since God bestows on women as well as men gifts and calling to serve in unordained ministries, both women and men are encouraged to enroll in the Master of Arts programs; and they are eligible to receive financial aid and other services that the Seminary provides to its Student Body.
