Degree Audits
A degree audit is a computer-generated analysis
that enables the student to assess academic progress and
unfulfilled degree requirements.
A degree audit is:
- a valuable tool for academic planning and course
selection
- matches the courses that have taken with the
requirements of the program or anticipated program
- available for all students enrolled for credit at WSC
and has at least one graded semester recorded
degree audit process
1. Make an appointment with the Director of Student Services:
A degree audit is available by request. Please contact the
Registrar via email
for an appointment.
2. Consultation with Academic Advisor:
When reviewing the audit, the student should consult with an
advisor for several reasons.
- to discuss which courses to schedule based on the
student's abilities, interests, and plans
- to determine the best combinations of courses to
schedule each semester in order to meet requirements, ensure
success and degree progress
Please keep in mind that a degree audit is not the student's
official academic record. The transcript is the official record
of completed work.
