Ex Bibliotheca
I am increasingly convinced of the words of Dietrich Bonhoeffer,
“Whenever the Psalter is abandoned, an incomparable treasure vanishes
from the Christian church. With its recovery will come unsuspected
power.” In light of the truth and power of God’s Word, I have added
these items on the Psalms. (Look for more in the future.)
Psalms in Community: Jewish and Christian textual, liturgical, and
artistic traditions.
Edited by Harold W. Attridge and Margot E. Fassler. Leiden ; Boston :
Brill, 2004.
“Enemies and the Politics of Prayer,” in The Bible and the politics
of exegesis: essays in honor of Norman K. Gottwald on his sixty-fifth
birthday. David Jobling, Peggy L. Day, Gerald T. Sheppard,
editors. Cleveland, Ohio: Pilgrim Press, c1991.
Psalms.
Geoffrey W. Grogan. Grand Rapids, Mich.: William B. Eerdmans Pub. Co.,
2008.
The Editing of the Hebrew Psalter.
Gerald Henry Wilson. Chico, Calif.: Scholars Press, c1985.
The Psalms in history and biography.
John Ker. Edinburgh: A.
Elliot, 1886.

Pulpit Supply Information
The seminary often receives requests from churches for pulpit supply and these opportunities are often directed towards both professors and current students. In order to serve you and the requesting churches better, a form and database have been created to compile necessary church/denomination information, as well as the current status of academic and ecclesiastical progression of current students. Please complete the form and submit it to one of our front office assistants who will make the information available for pulpit supply requests.
