C. Scipione
Former Adjunct Professor of Pastoral CounselingA.B.
and M.A., Temple University; M.Div. and Th.M., Westminster
Theological Seminary. Rev. Scipione has been a minister in
the Orthodox Presbyterian Church for more then 27 years, and
served as associate pastor of Bayview Church in Chula Vista,
CA for nearly 10 years. In addition to helping with pastoral
duties at Bayview, Pastor Scipione founded and served as
director for the Institute for Biblical Counseling and
Discipleship in San Diego, a ministry that trains church
officers and laymen in the principles and practices of
counseling based on the Word of God as a fully sufficient
guide.
Rev. Scipione taught various counseling courses at WSC
from 1982 - 2005, until moving with his wife Eileen to
Taylors, South Carolina, to pastor Covenant Community OPC.
Among his writings are The Pauline Concept of
SUNEIDESIS (1973);
Timothy, Titus and You (1975); and numerous articles
on issues in Christian counseling. |
