The Yokefellow program is a group of men and women committed
to the seminary's mission through annual financial gifts of
$1,000 or more.
By God's grace the seminary has grown from 20 students in 1980
to its current level of more than 150 in its M.Div. and M.A.
programs. Its alumni are serving as teachers,
pastors, church planters, businessmen, youth leaders, and
missionaries throughout North America and around the world
including such countries as Saudi Arabia, Holland, Spain, Costa
Rica, Mexico, Switzerland, and Korea.
Westminster Seminary California's horizon is unlimited. Yet, as
an independent seminary, the school receives no direct financial
support from any one denomination and must depend upon the
voluntary gifts and offerings of individuals and supporting
churches: a goal that exceeds $1 million dollars per year.
The Yokefellow program has been and is the key in this support
raising effort. It allows the seminary to build a solid base of
continuing faithful support so that it can keep its focus on its
mission and programs rather than financial need.
