Dr. Herman Selderhuis, the President of the Theological University in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, will be giving a lecture titled, The History and Relevance of the Synod of Dort. Dr. Selderhuis is the author and editor of numerous books on the Reformation, including the Eerdmans Calvin Handbook, Calvin’s Theology of the Psalms, John Calvin: A Pilgrim’s Life, Martin Luther: A Spiritual Biography, and the IVP Reformation Commentary on the Old Testament Book of Psalms.
