The ability to know what you believe and why you believe it is crucial to the life of faith.
At Westminster Seminary California, our MATS program provides students with the tools necessary to systematize and apply biblical truth to the intellectual issues confronting the church and surrounding culture today. With a strong foundation in the original languages, students learn to exegete individual passages of Scripture and accurately understand them within the system of truth revealed in God’s Word.
Our MATS program is a 2 year and 72 credit program. Students will focus their studies in the areas of systematic theology, biblical languages, and church history. For more information, see the degree program outline below.
“Concentrated study and daily interaction with professors have given me tools and knowledge that I could not have gained on my own. With the knowledge that I gained in systematic theology, Greek and Hebrew exegesis, and church history, I am well-equipped to more responsibly serve my family and the church.”
