God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility are words we use so often that we can say them without much thought. When, in fact, the unity of divine grace and our enabled response has deep significance for the entire scheme of salvation. One could hardly find a more important passage that speaks to this idea than what we find in Philippians 2:12-18.
