Dr. VanDrunen will explore the surprising things Scripture calls us to boast in—and the things we’re tempted to boast in instead. Rather than boasting in our good works or status, Christians are called to boast in things that may otherwise seem shameful to the world. This fitting theme for Reformation Day reminds us that the Christian life turns the world’s ideas of honor and success upside down, directing our boasting away from ourselves and toward Christ.
