In every age, the church faces a real but often misunderstood spiritual conflict. This conference will explore the biblical and confessional teaching on spiritual warfare, emphasizing Christ’s decisive victory, the presence of the Spirit, and the believer’s call to stand firm in the Lord.

There is more happening in the world than meets the human eye, an invisible battle. Elisha was granted a glimpse of the spiritual armies to provide comfort in the midst of fear. In this lecture, Dr. Horton will explore angelology and demonology as they are understood in Reformed and Presbyterian teaching.
The people of the Lord are not left to their own defenses. The Lord himself is their warrior and champion. He fights for them and dresses them for the battle. This lecture will explore the promise of the Divine Warrior in Isaiah 59 and its fulfillment in Christ, as articulated in Ephesians 6:10-20.
The church lives in this present evil age and is surrounded by many trials and tribulations. She is united to her husband, Jesus Christ, but is not yet at home, at complete rest. In this lecture, we will examine the comfort the church receives in the Lord’s promise and presence. President Kim will unpack I Peter 5:1-11 as the church anticipates the return of the King.

From I-5 or I-15 South – take Hwy 78 east, into Escondido. At Broadway, where Hwy 78 turns right and becomes a surface street, continue straight ahead on Lincoln Avenue. At Rose Street, turn right. Rose merges with Boyle Avenue south of East Valley Parkway, and the Seminary campus is at the intersection of Boyle and Bear Valley Parkway on the hill overlooking Bear Valley.
Take Highway 163 north to Interstate 15 north and then exit at Via Rancho Parkway. Turn right on Via Rancho Parkway (which becomes Bear Valley Parkway) and continue approximately 4.5 miles to the Seminary campus at the intersection of Bear Valley Parkway and Boyle Avenue. Turn right on Boyle and enter the gates of the Seminary.
