MA in Biblical Studies

What work or ministries have you been involved with since graduation?

I am the Parenting Education Coordinator at First Choice Women’s Medical Center, a pregnancy resource center in Montgomery, AL. I counsel clients throughout their pregnancies, share the gospel, and lead Bible studies with them. I’ve led many Bible studies at my local church, and I have been the main speaker at women’s church events in different states.

How has your seminary education been valuable in your current vocation (or any vocation since graduation)? Has it been valuable in ways you weren’t expecting?

I have used my seminary education countless times in serving the local church, counseling clients who find themselves in crisis situations, and teaching at churches that invite me to speak at their women’s events.

One unexpected benefit of my seminary education is that it has given me discernment regarding helpful and biblically based books and resources to share with other women.

What would you say to a woman who is currently considering seminary education at WSC?

You will never regret taking a season of your life to study God’s Word in depth. You will reap the benefits for years to come as you use what you learned to serve Christ and His kingdom!
