This third course in the series is by far the longest.  Following an opening consideration of the doctrine often referred to as common grace,” the major section of the course is entitled “The Application of Redemption,” and considers such blessings of the Spirit's application to us of the benefits of Christ's saving work as:  union with Christ, calling, regeneration, faith and repentance, assurance of salvation, justification, sanctification, and perseverance.  This long section is followed by over four class sessions on the sacrament of baptism and two on the Lord's supper.  The course ends with six class sessions discussing the 1999 Zondervan book, Three Views on the Millennium and Beyond, to which Prof. Strimple contributed the long biblical defense of Amillennialism and chapters critiquing Postmillennialism and Premillennialism.
