When we ask the Lord for “our daily bread” we recognize that all we have come from the Lord. Spiritually and physically, we receive what we need from the Father, in the Son, and through the Holy Spirit. Our Father delights to hear our prayers and provide of his children. This prayer is meant to increase our faith, rest, and trust in our faithful God.
